Sporthotel Sonne offers 40 rooms. Alpine Suite - M includes wooden floors, a living room, a flat-screen TV, a minibar, a safe, a telephone, and Wi-Fi. The bathroom features a shower, separated WC and bidet, cosmetic mirror, hairdryer, and high-quality toiletries. Guests receive a wellness bag with bathrobes for their stay. Alpine Suite - L provides similar amenities. Panorama Suite features a south-facing balcony with views of the Dolomites, plus a bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Panorama Suite Deluxe is a two-story suite with a south-facing balcony. Suite Pez - Tofana includes a living room with a sofa bed, flat-screen TV, safe, minibar, telephone, and Wi-Fi. There are two bedrooms and a stone-optic bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Suite Sella has a north-side balcony with views of the Dolomites, a bedroom and living room with sofa bed. It includes a bathroom with a loggia, bathtub, and shower. Suite Cir provides a spacious bathroom with a loggia and bathtub.

The team of chefs creates five-course meals, with dishes from local traditions. Sommeliers select wines from the wine cellar. Breakfast, cakes, and gourmet dinners are available.

Sporthotel Sonne features direct access to the Seiser Alm, Gröden, and Sellaronda ski areas. Guests have access to an indoor swimming pool with panoramic windows and a fitness area. The wellness area includes three saunas, two relaxation rooms, and an infinity outdoor pool with views of the Dolomites. Spa treatments are available with products from Alpienne, Trehs, Mei, Maria Galland, and Mei. Free weekly bike and hiking tours are organised with a scheduled shuttle service to the hiking areas.

Sporthotel Sonne is situated on the Seiser Alm, 45 km from Bolzano. It provides ski-in, ski-out access. The hotel is located near hiking trails. Guests arriving by car between 10:00 and 17:00 must present their booking confirmation.

Sporthotel Sonne has its own furnished garden with a small lake. Since 1983, the Burgauners family manages Sporthotel Sonne on the Seiser Alm alpine pasture. In summer, the Alm Bus provides free transport to hiking routes. The property offers a wine cellar with a great choice of wines.
